Stock Rumors for 10/17

There were no credible rumors today on a gloomy day on wall street. The good news is that even with today's downturn, 14 of our 16 stocks are in the green with VPHM breaking to the upside today.

I heard from a friend over at Net Flix that they are going to bid on Circuit City CC for $12 a share to keep Blockbuster from getting their hand on it.He said they know the real reason they want it, it has nothing to do with electronics.Its a media delivery format thats coming out and if they succeed in purchasing CC then it will be lights out for Netflix.He said its going to be 2-4 billion in sales year over year.He said why do I think Icahn is so eager to back the deal with funding.Just a heads up, this is going to be a huge bidding war.
